Thank you to everyone who took part in our Open Competitions this season, and Congratulations to all the Prizewinners!

It was our pleasure to welcome you to Winterfield, and we hope that you have appreciated the real improvements we have been making to our course and our Club facilities, since we took over full management from East Lothian Council in March 2025.  In particular, we have an expert team of greenkeepers working their magic on all areas of the course, and we invested in a new system of automatic irrigation for tees and greens which has ensured these play much better and more consistently than before.  We will continue our ongoing programme of improvements.  We look forward to welcoming you back to Winterfield next year!

Here are all the results from our Opens for 2026.  Details of 2027 Opens will be posted here as soon as the schedule is complete – the first one being the Men’s Winter Open in March, for which we hope to have entries available in December.

All entrants to Men’s Individual Open comps must be Males of Amateur status, and in possession of an official WHS Index.   CDH numbers must be provided on entry.  Entrants for the Seniors Open must be aged 55 or above on the day of the competition.  Maximum playing handicaps will apply – 28 for the Seniors Open and 24 for the Winter, Belhaven and St Margaret’s Opens.  Entrants with a higher Handicap Index can enter, but their playing handicaps will be restricted to the maximum for each competition.
