The sun shone on the righteous on Sunday, and indeed on the rest of us too. The greenkeepers had done a wonderful job getting the course back to tip-top condition, and the day went very well. All the players in 36-hole finals really had to work hard, and the spectators enjoyed their day on the course too. All three matches were hard-fought, and the winners thoroughly deserved their success. Thanks are due to the volunteer referees, and all who helped make the occasion.
Special congratulations to Gordon Davidson, who overcame David Laird to become our 2026 Men’s Champion.
David Wallace beat Cameron Bell for the B Championship, and Brad Robertson took the C Championship ahead of Alex Coull.
