Perfect September conditions for our Finals day, the culmination of months of effort by all the players involved. What a fantastic day! Congratulations to all the winners and commiseration to the runners up. A huge thank you has to go to Calum, Neil and Byron for our amazing course, which was spectacular! What you guys are doing is fantastic. Also a huge thank you to all those behind the scenes, the Committee and the Executive Committee. Without the endless hours, we wouldn’t be where we are today. It was great to have a Juniors championship as well this year, highlighting the progress we as a Club are making in that department. Special congratulations to everyone here.
This was also the occasion of formally opening our new 9th tee, which our greens folk have been working hard on over the past year. It looked pristine, and with the White tee markers placed back there it proved a positive new challenge for the male competitors today. It will be fully operational next season.
