Winterfield Golf Club, today hosted the annual Sime Salver Ladies Inter County competition. This annual event, was established in 1990 by Anne Sime and take the format of a double pairs Foursome.
The weather was extremely kind, beautiful blue skies and very little wind, albeit an Autumnal chill in the air for the earlier players. Winners today were North Berwick A team (pictured below) with a score of 136, followed closely by Winterfield’s A team (140 pts). We extend enormous thanks to our Greenkeeping Staff, Pro Shop, Aunty D’s Bar & Restaurant, W. Cockburn, our starter today, and Rae Muir and Lorraine Laird, for managing the event today.
